My next project.
Step 1: Purchase table and chairs in pint size.
Steph 2: Paint an olive green color.
Step 3: Prevent the following from happening again.

Don't these cupcakes look marvelous? Well they are, even ask Kendall. After many trips to Whole Foods and passing a small sign for a allergen-free bakery, I finally was able to stop in. Let me tell you I did not want to leave! Fridays they bake fresh pizza and it sure did smell delightful. Every product they sell is gluten, dairy, soy, and peanut-free. They even have cupcakes and other goodies that are egg-free. I became so giddy to find another place where Kendall can partake freely in, well barring the pizza of course. Dee's One Smart Cookie surely is one smart chick.

Waking up to beautiful roses strewn on the table and the smell of waffles cooking wafting through the air was absolutely delightful. Not to mention the ever so cleverly hidden box of cookies from a local bakery. So far this weekend is off to a great start despite the unsettling night we had. But I digress...Hope you all have a marvelous and fun-filled Valentine's Day!

We enjoyed going to storytime at Border's where this week's theme was monsters. Then went to the mall to get some necessities and try out my new obsession and yes I'm sold! (although I switched to wanting a Canon Rebel XS) Sunday was just the girls spending time at Target and attempting a walk but it was too cold for the wee one so we came home to goofing around the house. Good times all around.
Back to the daily grind...hope ya'll had a good weekend!
PS - Yes, she was completely decked out in Nike in the last picture. Love those shoes!

Don't you think the nurse practitioner should update their out of work notes? Incapacitated seems a bit rash for pink eye, no?

It's snowing and gray outside so I'm envisioning sitting here working on new designs.
What do you wish you were doing right now?

I decided what I want to be when I grow up but the reality of responsibility is a roadblock I must overcome. What do you want to be?

Canon Digital Rebel XTI is my new obsession. Don't get me wrong I love my current camera but the quality of pictures I can take with this is beyond words. Aaaahhhh...a girl can dream.

Wayne painted the downstairs half bathroom a dark gray, CityScape from Sherwin Williams to be exact. And I am so in love with it! I literally turn the light on and smile each time I walk by it. He thinks I'm a nut but what's new? Didn't he do a great job?
Disclaimer: my precious camera is broken and off to be fixed therefor the quality of the picture is not up to par. Please bear with us.

Picture courtesy of my new favorite blog, Bakerella. The Southern woman from Georgia behind these great sweets just started designs sweets in a baking class in 2007 and look how she has grown. I've been dying to try and make her red velvet cake balls. Yum!
